April 24th Meeting to Feature Forum On Barrio Logan Plan
June Primary Endorsements Continue - Including Judicial Races

Is the Barrio Logan Community Plan a job killer or is the referendum against it the first volley in an attack on all San Diego citizens' ability to set health & safety, height and density standards for their communities? The Club has invited both sides in the debate over this June's Propositions B & C to present their views. Georgette Gomez from Environmental Health Coalition has confirmed for the April 24th meeting. Cynthia Ybarra from San Diegans for Prosperity has confirmed that they have no other conflicts preventing their attendance.
We will also complete our endorsement process - including consideration of candidates for judicial offices and designation of priority campaigns for the June 3rd primary election.
We anticipate a short meeting so plan on joining us following adjournment for a late meal in support of the Center's Dining Out for Life.

Irregularly Annual Big Kitchen Lasagna Dinner Set for Friday, May 2nd
Judy the Beauty On Duty Forman makes a vegetarian lasagna soooo good it brings carnivores to tears of joy. The Big Kitchen is soooo cool, Whoopi Goldberg worked there before she made it big as Guinan on TNG (Star Trek - the Next Generation for those of you not into culture), and even Speaker Toni Atkins, Council President Todd Gloria and School Board President Kevin Beiser have been known to wait tables there.
Here's your chance to join in on the magic - and who knows who will be slinging lasagna at your table.
