Video conferencing table features simple elegance, technology
In today's global world, video conferencing tables are popular for connecting across states and across oceans.
This modified V-shaped table was designed by Studios Architecture. It spans 11 feet along its sides and 15 feet across the open end. Made from plain sliced walnut in a bookmatched pattern and solid walnut, the veneer and solid wood are stained to a dark brown and accented with a brushed stainless steel inlay along the edge.
Built into the table are 11 custom made power/data drawers with power outlets, powered USBs and HDMI connections installed onsite. Six button microphones were also added to the tabletop for communication.
This communication gem seats 11 in total, meaning a power drawer has been provided for each user - a fitting choice for the high-tech, cutting edge company that purchased it for use in a global marketplace.
