2015 Best of the Best

As we look forward to an exciting 2016, we share with you some of our best furniture from the past year. Enjoy!

This project will soon be underway in our factory. It is a large open center elliptical table designed by Tilton, Kelly + Bell. We create a lot of open center tables like this, but we can't help being excited about some of the design features of this nearly 50-foot table, including the unique monitor wells.

***

Boat-shaped tables are also nothing new to our design and build team. This 36-foot table makes the list for its use of faux leather and overall sleek design by Habjan Architecture and Interior Design.

These benching workstations are standouts for the incredible job conceived by Gensler and completed by our veneer department. See how the veneer on the sides and top match.

***

Our Arbor tables are popular, for sure. These unique Arbors feature cast acrylic and brushed aluminum frames, legs and hatch lids for a standout - far from traditional - look. They also have microphones and cable baskets not typically found on the Arbor.

***

This video conferencing table designed by Studios Architecture added brushed stainless steel inlay to solid walnut edges and a dark finish to walnut veneer, not to mention custom A/V drawers in the apron.

***

This table is big in technology and size. Here it is a concept illustration and then completed. Designed by Swanke, it spans 50 feet and includes retractable monitors, microphones and apron power with WallGoldfinger exclusive flip-up retractable lids.

***

With a curved base, inset monitor, microphone and other technology, this lectern designed by Gensler is a one-of-a-kind.

***

This boat-shaped table was a massive undertaking of stunning sapele and makore veneer, solid mahogany and a fine inlay of brushed stainless steel. Designed by Gensler, this table stretched 35 feet long and was 12 feet wide at its center. Here it is in our reassembly area prior to being disassembled and shipped.

These desks are unique for their diverse materials, which include everything from veneer to multiple kinds of stone to bulletproof material.

***

This boat-shaped table designed by Elkus/Manfredi adopts the now popular look of back-painted glass and polished stainless steel but stands out for its removable end sections, allowing it to transition into a smaller table for more intimate gatherings.

***

These stone and veneer tables designed by Marner Architecture are unique in part for the base on the round table.

***

These mobile pantry units are unique in part because they feature power and data connections and are set on casters. Designed by LJ Duffy, they recently left our factory.

These concept illustrations show a project we recently completed under the design of IA Interior Architects that consisted of both a fixed table and Summits with a unique metal base detail.

***

When talking scale, it doesn't get much larger than this open center eclipse table with a separate center table designed by BHDP Architecture.

***

Part of a larger project that included multiple conference tables and credenzas, this table designed by TPG Architecture surpassed the typical glass and brushed and polished stainless steel with its attractive edge detail.

***

Narrower than the traditional Arbor at 24 inches wide, these reconfigurable tables feature the Arbor's new overlay edge and corner legs in white oak veneer and "Bengal silver" powder coat.

***

This furniture collection features a more traditional cherry veneer with the modern touch of a faux leather centerfield.

***

Similar to the project above, this project also features some more traditional veneers, including cherry and walnut in a reverse diamond pattern. The table spans 32 feet. The accompanying nearly 16-foot credenza features a quartz top. This project will soon be underway in our factory.

***

These custom secretarial stations designed by Keiser Associates and recently ordered will feature veneer, stone, metal and plastic laminate.

This concept illustration shows a table we recently completed. For us it is interesting because we built the company's previous table. In fact, our woodworker Tom Yacawych was the job captain of both this table and its far earlier predecessor. Designed by Verrex, this version spanned about 28 feet of quartered figured anigre, maple and stainless steel.
