Choose the right materials for your project

Mike Spencer is WallGoldfinger's chief operating officer and vice president of production. Here he talks about materials integration.

"The word 'woodworker' remains a misnomer as our woodworking team increasingly works with a large

variety of materials before a furniture project is complete. Today's furniture incorporates metal, glass, stone, faux leather and more. Our engineers and 'woodworkers' at WallGoldfinger are experts when it comes to melding these materials together into an impressive overall product.

"But while materials choices are pretty limitless and we're sure to incorporate them into a gorgeous product, it's still important to choose the right materials for your furniture. Perhaps you want the look of leather, but does it make for the best writing surface? Maybe your leather should be a centerfield instead. And perhaps you want a metal edge, but what will that edge do your chair arms? Instead, try placing a resin chair arm protector under your metal edge to save your chair arms.

"Ultimately, it's up to you to choose the materials that work for your office design. We're here to help you achieve your look without losing functionality."
