Open center monitor well table built for high-tech interactions

Designed by Weiss/Manfredi, this one-of-a-kind monitor well table was created for a pharmaceutical company.

It features eight monitors mounted on the interior wall of an open center round table. The table is more than 14 feet in diameter in rift cut white oak veneer. The tabletop is in a radial pattern. The reverse knife table edge is made of solid white oak.

In addition to the eight 46-inch monitors, the table features four power and data boxes below hatch lids, 16 button style microphones and four HD cameras set on swing arm mounts.

The cameras are within the table well on ledges above the monitors. Fixture boxes and microphones are set into a riser of matching veneer and solid wood.

A 12-foot credenza complemented the table. It featured rift cut white oak veneer in a bookmatched pattern and solid white oak edge and base. The credenza included eight cabinets and a cable cubby at one end.
