Make the most of your meeting space with this unique, reconfigurable 'bridge' design
Often called a bridge table by the WallGoldfinger team, this 7.5-foot by 45-foot table was designed by Gensler in New York. It features two fixed 150- by 90-inch tables and three 60- by 90-inch tilt-top Summit tables in the middle. One of the fixed table's top slides approximately two inches to allow access to the removable Summits.
This unique design allows both a large, quality conference table for the law firm for which it was built as well as the convenience of reconfigurability.
With the Summits removed from the center section, a room divider can be added to create two conference room spaces. Tilt the Summit tops and casters automatically extend so the tables can be easily moved to another space for use or to store nested and compactly in a closet.
When it comes to aesthetics, the tables are made with tempered, low-iron, acid-etched back-painted glass to match Benjamin Moore paint "Coventry gray" and brushed stainless steel hatch lids, edges and clad bases. The hatch lids provide access to power/data units and the tables also feature microphones.
For a business or institution looking for a large boardroom table and also the convenience of a reconfigurable table, this unique design utilizing the popular Summit product line is a great solution.
Table highlights:
- Large, impressive conference table
