High-tech table also features chair saving edge

Monitors come out of the table and retract,
as shown in this concept illustration. The illustration below shows where the rubber bumper falls on one of our popular metal and solid wood edges.

This 11-foot by 27-foot boat shaped boardroom table designed by Gensler in New York has some incredible features. One that stands out is a Delrin bumper edge (picture a black rubber edge just under the edge of the table that protects chair arms from damage). A second standout feature is 12 motorized, retractable Arthur Holm monitors.

Made from quartered walnut in a book and butt match pattern, solid walnut and brushed stainless steel, this high tech table also contains 10 power/data boxes and 24 Clockaudio microphones and switches.

An impressive piece of furniture that integrates both today's technology and a continued market tendency toward walnut tabletop materials, this table is a showpiece for the financial institution for which it was built.

Incorporate the WallGoldfinger chair saving edge in your next table design.
