The top conceptual drawing shows glass top bifold tables recently completed in collaboration with Gensler for America's tallest building, 1 World Trade Center, spanning 1,776 vertical feet in Manhattan.
An appropriate showpiece for this historically significant building, these modern, re-configurable conference tables are each 66-inch square with inset, low iron, acid etched glass tilt tops. The glass tops are back painted with an off-white color called "baby fawn." Bases are clad in brushed stainless steel and the two-inch table top edge is also brushed stainless steel. Hatch covers are antique nickel plate and hatch frames are polished stainless steel.
The custom fabricated and assembled hatches include a panel for an ECA interface I under table mount fixture box with a six-foot power cord and four configurable AV data plates for maximum flexibility in connectivity, a center panel built to accommodate a microphone and a fixed panel.
In all, 10 of the tables were ordered to be joined into a conference table solution. Set on casters, they can also be moved to create a dining set-up or stand alone workstations for a modern business in a modern building in today's modern world.
