Lights, camera, (make-up,) action ...
Where does a governor turn when he is trying to show job growth, success and prosperity in Vermont? Why WallGoldfinger, of course.
Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin used WallGoldfinger as a backdrop for a campaign ad highlighting the state's recovery following Tropical Storm Irene in 2011.
As you may or may not know, our factory in Northfield was wiped out in the catastrophic flooding that followed the storm. For us, it presented an opportunity to create a new, state-of-the-art facility in a larger space in neighboring Randolph, where we are today and where the governor recently visited us.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, I got in on the act ... complete with make-up. Our furniture has a certain shine on top. Apparently the camera crew thought I did as well.
Thank you for taking the time to read our November newsletter. We hope it finds you enjoying fall's splendor and getting ready for a season of giving thanks. We are certainly thankful for you.
Sincerely,
John Wall
