Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame Banquet
Saturday, November 7, 2015
The Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame annual banquet, known to many as the Llano Estacado Banquet, is held each fall to honor the inductees into the Cowboy Hall of Fame and to present awards and honors to those people who have proven vital to the Museum's success. Each year, three individuals are selected by the Museum membership for induction into the Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame. Also honored is a recipient of the "Silver Concho" award, given to an individual or animal not eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame but deserving of special recognition. Each year the board also honors a "working cowboy" and "outstanding rancher" and the Museum staff honors a "volunteer of the year."

Admission Price
The Advisory Board for the museum recently approved a change to the Museum's admission fees, effective November 1. Darrell Beauchamp, Executive Director for the museum, noted that the change in admission fees is the first time in more than 10 years that the fees have been adjusted. "Quite frankly," Beauchamp said, "our fees have been very low and below national and regional averages for a museum of our size. This adjustment brings our fees more in line with other museums and helps us recover some of our overhead while not putting too much cost back on the non-member visitor." Fees for guest visiting the museum will be $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 12-18. Members of the Museum, children, first responders, and retired military always get in free.
