Lea County Fair and Rodeo

You only have 2 days left to come visit us at the Lea County Fair and Rodeo.  You can find the Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame booth at the Chaparral Building from 10am-10pm through Saturday.

The Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame is raffling off three items at the Lea County Fair and Rodeo. Tickets are available for $2.  Proceeds from the raffle go towards educational programing. Winners are drawn and announced at 7pm on Saturday, August 8th at the Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame Booth at the Lea County Fair.  Need not be present to win.

Nominations

The Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame Banquet is on November 7.  The time is quickly approaching when we will be accepting nominations for the Bronze Cowboy. If a nominee does not qualify for Bronze Cowboy, they will be considered for Silver Concho.  Only members of the Western Heritage Museum and Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame can make a nomination.  The deadline for nominations is September 8, 2015.  For nomination guidelines and forms, please click here.  For a list of past inductees please check out our Exhibits page.
