One week out of the year we like to blow our horn! That is National Library Week. The theme this year is "Libraries Transform."We have many great events planned. Below are just a few. See our Online Calendar for more.
Every day, we celebrate diversity in children's books. The Berkeley Public Library is collaborating with the local nonprofit organization, Equal Read, to highlight engaging, high-quality books that reflect a wide range of identities and life experiences.
In the library's catalog, search for "equal read." You'll find over 200 recommended books-picture books, readers, chapter books, and some nonfiction books, including audiobooks, e-books, and e-audiobooks. Happy reading!
