Presentations by tutors and learners. Attendance is required for both tutor training days. Banned Book Week: September 27 - October 3

Eric Drooker and the Art of HOWL @ NorthSaturday, September 26 6:00pm-7:30pm Join North Branch in an after-hours celebration of Banned Books Week as we welcome graphic artist Eric Drooker, who will discuss his friendship with Allen Ginsberg and their collaboration on the graphic novelization of Ginsberg's iconic, and much banned, poem, HOWL. Banned Books Game @West September 28 October 3 Teen Services and West Branch celebrate Banned Book Week with a display of the best banned books and a game, Guess the Banned Book. We will have a large jar filled with a shredded banned book. Teen contestants are invited to fill out a raffle ticket with their guess. At the end of the week we will have a drawing and the lucky winner will win a fabulous prize! Banned books @Claremont Drop by this month and check out a book from our Banned books display! You'll be surprised to find out what was challenged and why.
