Honorary Chair Mollie Katzen, whose Moosewood Cookbook celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, hosts this year's Gala. Thirty honored authors from the Bay Area will sip and sup with guests in the historic reading room of the Central Library.

Karima Cammell and the artists of Castle in the Air create one-of-a-kind artworks made from recycled books and paper with our teens to adorn the library.

The Berkeley Public Library Foundation partners with the Library to offer local teens the opportunity to create unique artworks with local artist Karima Cammel for this year's Author Dinner.

Open to all middle and high school age teens. All materials and instruction are provided free. Limited to 12 participants each session. Advance registration is requested.
