Maidentrip Screening @West Branch

The Strong Girls Rule film discussion series celebrating women in sport begins with a screening of Maidentrip (82 min.) followed by discussion and Q&A with Stephanie Evans, Commodore of Berkeley's Cal Sailing Club.  

Maidentrip is a feature length documentary about the inspirational journey of Laura Dekker, who, at the age of 14, became the youngest person to sail alone around the world.

from Berkeley's Cruz Skate Shop and the

Bay Area Derby Girls (schedules permitting). This exciting documentary provides an in-depth look at the history of women's roller derby and a portrait of the Montréal derby team The New Skids on the Block.
