Teen Sailing

Join this new high school sailing team. Learn about it March 19, 7-8 p.m., at Amazon Community Center. No experience needed; equipment and transportation provided.  Scholarships are available. One popular class is Music Play for Tykes for children ages 2�-5 with parent. This class is fun for your child and they learn to listen, follow, be creative, connect mind and body, and develop intellectually and emotionally. Saturdays, April 26-May 31 at Amazon Center. Register online
Shop, sip or dine to benefit the WJ

Beginning this month participating Eugene businesses will donate a percentage of sales to the Eugene Parks Foundation to fund Recreation programs at the WJ Skatepark + Urban Plaza. This is no ordinary skatepark-it will be the largest covered, lighted public skatepark in the country!

For your Olympics-inspired snowboarder!

Get him or her to the River House for Snowboarding - Intermediate Ride Days on Sundays, March 16 and 23, from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. $50 per day.  Call 541-682-5329 for info or to register. Register online

Feeling crafty?
Craft Workshop on March 25, 2-4 p.m., is a do-it-yourself activity that makes it fun to learn and acquire new skills. Explore your creativity and take home a set of four decorative coasters.  All supplies included. Register online
Capture the beauty of nature that surrounds you

CameraNature Photography is a hands-on program in which you will learn about native plants, how to photograph them, and gain a new hobby. This fun learning experience includes field trips in each class. Must have your own digital camera. Designed for individuals with disabilities. Register online

Donate Your Old Skateboard

Skateboard The River House will accept your repairable, complete skate boards and decks to use in skate programs. Youth will repair and ride your old stuff. Please bring boards to: The River House, 301 N. Adams St. M-F 12-4 p.m. Call 541-682-6323 for information.
