Meet Our New
Full-Time Officers

In early May, two of our part-time Police Officers were promoted to full-time. The two officers were selected after completing a promotional examination, interview process and approval by the Board of Commissioners. Both officers are welcome additions to the full-time ranks and embrace the community policing philosophy.

Officer Nicollette Jena has been a part-time Hopewell Township Police Officer since 2014. She also has part-time experience with Peters, Hanover, and Smith Townships. She is a graduate of Hopewell High School and Duquesne University.

Officer Aaron Lopez has also been a part-time Hopewell Township Police Officer since 2014. He has previous part-time experience with Industry and Bridgewater. Officer Lopez has full-time military background, including just under 13 years as a Military Policeman.

Congratulations to both Officer Jena and Officer Lopez.

PARK FEST
FRIDAY & SATURDAY, JULY 10 & 11, 2015

HOPEWELL COMMUNITY PARK (5 PM - 10 PM)

Our annual summer celebration is two fun-filled days of live entertainment, rides and amusements, ethnic food, and fireworks. Free admission! Take the free shuttle from Margaret Ross and Hopewell Elementary Schools. On-site parking for vendors and performers with permit (available upon request). This is a must-attend party at the park with a fireworks display both nights at 10 pm. For more information, click here.

Retirement Dedication Ceremony at

After more than 45 years of superb service to our residents as a School Crossing Guard, Irene McCoy has retired. Irene started working full-time in 1970, part-time for many years prior, and retired in July 2014. Happy Retirement, Irene, and thank you for your dedication to Hopewell Township!

CONCERTS IN THE PARK

Hopewell Community Park (7 PM)

All concerts are free and begin at 7 pm. at Pavilion 1. Bring your lawn chair and relax to cool jazz, patriotic and lively big band music. Snacks will be sold. Rain location will be at Hopewell Memorial Jr. High School upstairs gymnasium.

CAMP LAKEWOOD

There are still spots available in Sessions 1, 2, and 7 for ages 5-8 in Camp Lakewood at Hopewell Community Park. For more details and schedule dates, click here for the registration form.

BE A VOLUNTEER!

Opportunities await you as a volunteer at Hopewell Park! Apply to assist at events or as a "behind-the-scenes" worker to help the Park Board with their continued efforts to provide quality recreational programming and entertainment for all ages. Applications at the Municipal Building or on the "Forms" page of our website.
