NorCal State Cup Finals Recap

The 2016 NorCal State Cup Finals took place over the May 14th-15th weekend at Cosumnes River College. Champions were crowned in 44 divisions of play from State to Copper. A pair of girls State championships were handed out to De Anza Force (U14 and U17) and Davis Legacy (U15 and U16), while Sacramento United took home the U19 title. On the boys side, five different clubs won State championships including Mustang (U19), Ballistic United (U17), Marin FC (U16), Atletico Santa Rosa (U15), and El Camino Real Salinas (U14). The State division winners in the U14 through U17 age groups qualified for the US Club National Cup XV Finals, held July 22-25 at the Aurora Sports Park in Aurora, CO. The National Finals, the culmination of US Club Soccer's cup-based national competition, provides an opportunity for teams to win US Club Soccer's coveted National Championship.

US Club National Cup XV

The National Cup XV, the 15th edition of the competition, will take place in the summer of 2016. NorCal State Cup (highest division) champions in the U14-U17 age groups advanced to the National Cup XV Finals, where national championships will be awarded.
