The NorCal State Cup Semifinals are ahead this Saturday with matches being played at Mary Grogan Park and Turlock Sports Complex. The quarterfinal round saw some amazing finishes and some extreme weather. On Saturday, teams played in heavy winds with gusts over 40 mph, while on Sunday temperatures approached 90 degrees. Furthermore, in Davis we saw thunder and lightning which caused delays in the final matches of the weekend. The semifinals are setting up to create more drama as teams look to book their spot in the NorCal State Cup Finals being played on May 14th and 15th at Cosumnes River College.
