Two exciting announcements!

The first is that the WCBA dinner meetings are back. After a summer hiatus, we will gather again on October 15th to dine, drink, network and learn. The October event will be held at Timmer's Resort on the shores of Big Cedar Lake.

Join us for an evening of wining and dining and catch up with your industry friends. After dinner, we will hear from business consultant and trainer, Darren Fisher. Darren will present a brief synopsis of how his consulting company can help your business improve. Darren's company has served many trade-related businesses in the past. One example is Jon Brown at JB Drywall, who said of Darren's work; "Darren helped us focus on what's important so we can work efficiently."

The second announcement is that the WCBA board of directors has recently formed a committee dedicated to the development of a comprehensive internet-based marketing program designed to enhance the visibility of the WCBA and all of its members. The first phase of this program involves an overhaul of the existing WCBA website. The WCBA website enhancements will include:

1)      Reformatting to become "mobile device-friendly"

2)      Incorporating more sophisticated banner advertising scrolls

3)      Employing "pay-per-click" software to attract web traffic and              then creating links to member websites

We are very excited about this initiative. This enhancement will be a valuable asset to the association membership.  Stay tuned for further developments and announcements about how you can take advantage of this great opportunity to enhance your company's visibility.
