The WCBA welcomes its newest member: Dog Guard Out of Sight Fencing. They specialize in underground pet containment systems and will be exhibiting at the Washington County Home Builders Expo. Please feel free to contact Brian Benisch at (608) 628-2609 or (262) 989-2609.

 

The excitement is really building for the upcoming Home Builders Expo next weekend. If you have not yet registered, consider participating in the Expo. This opportunity only happens once a year and is the perfect time to network with the public while promoting your business.   

2015 Building and Remodeling Expo

Time is running out!
  

There is less than one week remaining to get signed up for the 2015 WCBA Building and Remodeling Expo which is taking place February 6-8, 2015 at the Washington County Fair Park. We only have a few spots still available! You can register online at www.wcba-wi.org or print an application and mail it along with your payment to PO Box 27, West Bend, WI 53095. Surveys show that building and remodeling are on the rise and this Expo should help kick start the year off, so don't miss out on this opportunity. Last year more than 1,600 people attended the 3 day event!

   

This year we will feature the ABC Supply Indy car with the opportunity for the kids to have their picture taken with a real Indy car. We will again have Gus Gnorski as our guest speaker on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm. Gus is a well-known local celebrity formerly from Fox 6 and WTMJ radio show "Ask Gus". He has a huge following, with more than 45 people attending each seminar last year.  Attendees are welcome to bring their fix it questions to discuss with him. We will also have the always popular kid's bird house and tool box building.

 

Friday night we will feature our complimentary Exhibitor's dinner, catered by Schwai's, following the general membership meeting.

Presidential_Message A Message from the WCBA

There is a lot happening for the Association at this time of year. The Holiday Party was just held on January 24th and was attended by a group of almost 50. The staff at The Fox and Hounds provided outstanding service and we enjoyed an excellent meal in a relaxing and casual environment. 

 

The Home Building and Remodeling Expo is coming up on February 6, 7 & 8th.  We have had a great response and are almost at capacity, so if you have been considering getting booth space at the EXPO my suggestion is to sign up quickly.  

 

On February 6th, at 8 pm the Washington County Fairgrounds Pavilion will be the location of the general membership meeting for February and it is at this meeting that we will conduct the elections for members wishing to step into a leadership position on the Board of Directors.  There are three openings due to the fulfillment of the three year term length and these positions are available to any member in good standing who wants to help guide the Association into the future.  Being a Board of Director is a gratifying position and all that is required is that you have a desire to help steer the future of the Association and attend a monthly Board meeting with like-minded individuals.   If you have any questions about the duties of being a Board of Director please feel free to give me a call. 

 

For all those attending the February meeting, after the short Association program, there will be a free dinner by Schwai's catering plus an open bar for all attendees.  So come out and join us for a great evening.  See you then!
