Dates have been set for several upcoming events. Please mark your calendars and watch your email for registration information. Also, if you are interested in volunteering to help or in being an event sponsor, please contact the chairperson for that event.

WCBA Annual Meeting and Election, Washington County Fairgrounds Pavilion, 8 PM.

Don't miss out on this year's WCBA Building & Remodeling Expo. There is still time to register with spots selling fast. This year it is set for February 14-16, 2014 held at the Washington County Fair Park Pavilion. You will be able to meet local customers at a much lower cost than other events. As always, there is free parking and admission is $3.00 in advance and $5.00 at the door for attendees. You as a vendor, will receive 10 complimentary tickets or as many as you request to hand out to your customers.
This year we will be featuring 43 ads on TV's Fox 6 along with local papers and radio stations. We will again have children's birdhouse building and face painting (always a hit with the kids). On Friday night we will also again have the exhibitor's dinner after the show's close with great food from Brian's Catering.
Our Guest speaker again this year will be Gus Gnorski, formerly from Fox 6 and WTMJ radio show "Ask Gus" on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm among other information Seminars.
Our presenting Expo sponsor this year will be Uptown Motors in Slinger.

Lead Safe Renovator REFRESHER Class on March 26th!

This continuing-education refresher class is required for people that were previously trained as Lead Safe Workers and wish to retain their certification. Register now if you are among the over 5000 workers who need Lead Safe Renovator Refresher Training in 2014! Classes will fill up fast, so take your class early to avoid the wait. Again, this half day REFRESHER class is for previously trained Lead Safe Renovators.

The WCBA Xmas party at Wegner's on Big Cedar Lake was a great success and just one of the networking opportunities for our members to use & enjoy. Thank You to the Xmas committee - Stevie Wildt, Caroline Wilkes and Val Spooner for all there hard work and making this event a success. If you didn't attend, mark your calendars for next year. This month is the Home Builders Expo at the Washington County Fairgrounds Feb. 14 thru the 16th , one of the WCBA's biggest events . This is another great opportunity for the members to "show off" their business and to network with other members.

Notice for the 2014 Annual Meeting and the Election of the Board of Directors
The Washington County Builders Association has been very fortunate to have a great group of people who volunteer their time for the benefit of all members. This group, namely the Board of Directors, throughout the year solicits other members to join in and become more involved.
According the recent and unanimously approved Bylaw changes, members of the Association are to elect at the Annual Meeting in February the Board of Directors for the following year's term commencing in March. If you are considering or have a question about these Board positions I urge you to call me so that I may answer any questions you may have about these positions and have your name placed on the ballot before the Annual meeting scheduled for February 14th at 8pm after the Home Building and Remodeling EXPO at the Washington County Fairgrounds Pavilion.
Also on the agenda In addition to the election there will be short talk about the Associations goals for 2014 and an open session to answer any questions you may have relevant to the Association. As usual, for all members and exhibitors that attend we will have a buffet compliment of the Association along with this years open bar sponsored by WCBA member, A-1 Pools.
