Business Spotlight:
Angel Wings Bakery

Angel Wings Bakery is an online gourmet bakery and social enterprise committed to helping break the cycle of poverty and end homelessness.

The bakery offers a variety of gourmet treats that can be ordered online and sent directly to your home or office. Jeanne Nelson, their pastry chef, trained at Le Cordon Bleu and interned under famous cake artist Collette Peters. A few of the goods they offer include seasonal cookies, gourmet cakes, cookie truffles, lemon tarts, and their signature Angel Wings shortbread cookie.

This social enterprise was birthed from Path of Life Ministries, a premier nonprofit that has provided homeless services in Riverside for over 10 years. Their goal is to rescue, restore, and rebuild the lives of those in crisis by offering a holistic system of care. Much more than a bakery, Angel Wings was created with two goals: 1) Provide a sustainable income source for homeless services, and 2) offer transitional employment opportunities to eligible Path of Life guests.
