Fireball Run Crosses the Finish Line This Weekend

Fireball Run is in full force, and ready for action on September 28th! Fireball Run - the 8-day, 2500 mile rally and race - began its trek across the southwest on September 20 from Longmont, Colorado. Since then, the 40 teams have traveled through rain storms in Alamosa, CO, mud pits in Bloomfield, NM, and are currently on a drive past the Grand Canyon in Arizona. (Read more...)

Long Night of Arts & Innovation to Include Over 700 Activities, Performances & Presentations

Riverside's Long Night of Arts & Innovation returns to Downtown Riverside on October 10, 2013 from 4 p.m. to midnight. 

Over 700 events will take place in 20+ locations in Downtown Riverside, including the Fox Performing Arts Center, Riverside Auditorium and Events Center, UCR Culver Center, Riverside Metropolitan Museum, downtown Library, Riverside Arts Museum, Main Street Riverside and City Hall. Culinary demonstrations will take place in the area's many fine dining establishments. Innovative chefs will demonstrate their culinary skills, and many downtown Riverside eateries will remain open from 4 p.m. to midnight. Also new this year will be a Curious Kids discovery zone for children ages eight to ten filled with fun, hands-on interactive games, as well as a Long Night passport that school children can get stamped at the various presentations to record their attendance. (Read more...)
