Bilingual safety tips now available
Each week, IWIF emails selected policyholders bilingual safety tips and a one-page safety training sheet on a specific workplace safety topic.

The emails, which were introduced in January, clearly state that the information is provided by IWIF and with the policyholder's agent's knowledge. The brief 10-15 minute weekly safety trainings are provided in English for supervisors and include brief Spanish translations and links to bilingual resources.

Agents who would like to receive these emails, or would like their IWIF clients to receive them, can email Corey Sale Grunert at [email protected] with the policyholder's name and email address. To see a list of the safety topics, visit IWIF's Safety University.

 Dear Agent Partner,

Steve Orr lo.resWelcome to the Summer issue of Producer Line. This newsletter is filled with information tailored to IWIF's agent partners and their staff.

The clock is ticking and IWIF employees remain dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition to Chesapeake Employers' Insurance Company on Oct. 1. Recently, IWIF President and CEO Tom Phelan and I held open meetings around the state to personally keep agents informed about company transition updates, A.M. Best rating, NCCI membership, and marketing news. If you were unable to attend one of these meetings, your Territorial Account Executive and I will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding IWIF's convervision to Chesapeake.

Last but not least, please feel free to share Producer Line with other members of your team. On behalf of IWIF, I thank you for your business and continued support.

Steve Orr, CPCU

IWIF Sr. Vice President, Marketing & Technology

New ads, TV interview publicize name changeIWIF-Chesapeake ad-Nurse
This  summer, IWIF launched an advertising campaign that publicizes our conversion to Chesapeake Employers.

The campaign consists of print, digital and radio ads that target Maryland business owners, policyholders and agents. The ad message simply states that IWIF's name will change, but our commitment to providing workers' compensation insurance in Maryland will remain as strong
as ever.

Print and digital ads appear in local business and insurance trade publications. Radio ads air through the end of August on WBAL-AM and WPOC.

Additionally, President and CEO Tom Phelan heralds key company messages on WMAR TV's Maryland Spotlight. Check out the brief video interview here.
