Starting January 2013 your BESTPASS transponder will function on all toll facilities in North Carolina.  There is nothing you need to do and toll usage will flow through the prepaid portion of your BESTPASS account.  North Carolina calls their all electronic toll service NC Quick Pass and is fully compatible with E-ZPass and BESTPASS transponders.  Please note, North Carolina's toll facilities are all electronic. There are no manned toll booths.
