Lower Tag Assessment Fees in 2013 | |
Lower Tag Fees
 BESTPASS leases its transponder equipment from the NYS Thruway and with their recent switch to a lower cost toll windshield tag they have also lowered their lost/stolen and damage assessment fees. In an effort to pass along as much savings as possible to our clients, BESTPASS will be matching these lower fees going forward.

2013 DISCOUNT REDUCTION & TOLL INCREASES | |

PTC Volume Discount Reduction
The PA Turnpike Commission approved a new toll rate schedule for 2013. This included a change to their volume discount program. These changes will be put into effect January 1, 2013. While BESTPASS will continue to provide the best possible service and discounts available anywhere, these changes will impact your toll rates and volume discount on the PA Turnpike. All other discounts on other facilities including the new 2012 discount on the Port Authority faculties will remain unchanged.

PTC E-ZPass Toll Rate Increase
Toll rates for customers using an E-ZPass transponder will see toll rates raise by 2% while cash payers will have toll rates increased by 10%.
These changes will be reflected in the invoice received in February for January usage.
As with all users of tolled facilities, BESTPASS has very little say in the rates dictated by the tolling authorities, particularity when there is little if any notice prior to an announcement. As can be seen from our discount schedule and the services provided we do all we can to maximize the discount given to our customers along with savings gained by efficiencies realized with our other services.
PANYNJ E-ZPass Toll Rate Increase
The Port Authority of NY & NJ previously scheduled rate increases through 2015.
The rate changes went into effect December 2, 2012 and will be reflected in the invoice received in January for December usage. To view the rate schedule click on the link below.
