Fall Market Update
The real estate market has been slow and steady this fall. We saw a surge of new listings in September, although the inventory coming on is starting to slow up in most markets. This is a GREAT time to purchase a home if you're a buyer - I've had a lot more luck getting offers accepted with less competition.. and even a few homes selling for under listing price (but not all, very dependent on situation and pricing!). And, rates are still low. 

On the listing side, since we're also seeing less competition with lower inventory, it can present a good opportunity for a seller. As always the name of the game is pricing fairly and aggressively - the market will always determine what your home sells for. Communities like Newton and Brookline remain very strong seller markets.
