From Dr. Toni Brown.....
BOO!!! Halloween is coming- are you ready???
As you know it is a long standing tradition at PK to have our annual Halloween Parade. Please feel free to have your student come to school in costume but please know all students will be changing out of costume immediately following the parade and will need a change of clothes for the remainder of the day.
The parameters for costumes are as follows; student faces should be visible at all times, no masks or costumes that cover your child's face will be allowed. Please refrain from gory or violent costumes and no prop weapons will be permitted. I would appreciate best judgement in choosing your child's costume in that it should be age and dress code appropriate. If your child is inappropriately dressed, it could result in changing prior to the parade.
For parents that would like to join us for the parade, please join us on the field area at 8:45 AM. We will be walking by grade level beginning with Kindergarten. Hope to see you there!!
Thanks!
Dr. Brown |

Your donations help fund, among other things, the science lab, computer software, our library, campus enhancements, the visual and performing arts program, and growing great garden. Our membership drive officially ends November 2. Thank you for your participation! |

MBEF Pledge Day is Coming - Thursday, November 6th
Thank you to the families who have already donated to the Annual Appeal!
If you have not yet had the opportunity to contribute, we look to you, our amazing Dragon families, to help us reach our goal of 100% participation this year. Your meaningful donation to our schools helps supplement dismal state funding; California ranks 49th in the country in per pupil funding. Please donate by November 6th by clicking http://mbef.org/givetoday/.
At the elementary school level, your participation allows us to continue funding reasonable class sizes K-3, hands-on science, library specialists, music instruction, physical education, specialists focused on reading, writing and technology instruction and so much more. Without your investment, none of this is possible.
So please, join us on Pledge Day. Every donor and every gift is important, so please give what's right for your family. Your tax-deductible contribution can make a world of difference for our schools and our community.
On Pledge Day, please join us on campus for some morning coffee, compliments of MBEF Business Sponsor, Two Guns Espresso, and don't forget to pick up a yard sign.
