Summer is almost over :(

Greetings!

We are SO EXCITED to announce the newest edition to the EvoFit family, Brielle Madelyn Kane!  Danielle  and Brian welcomed their daughter into the world just last night, August 14, 2014!  Congratulations to you both!

We are also excited to announce our EvoFit Games 2014, Ninja Warrior!  The date is Saturday, September 20th. We hope you all can make it!

Please note that you must pre-register because all participants will receive a LIMITED EDITION, one-time-only EvoWarrior T-shirt to commemorate the games.  Just let us know your T-shirt size when you sign up!

The EvoFit Games is a members-only event, but your friends & family are more than welcome to participate.  However, they will not be eligible to win and they will not receive the members-only limited edition T-shirt.  Please pre-register them also.

Our featured article this month, The Warrior Spirit, was written in honor of our upcoming games.  The warrior spirit is not about fighting wars in the traditional sense.  Rather, it is about being a warrior in your own life so you can fulfill your potential and live the life that is your true destiny.

In other EvoNews, Olivia will be starting grad school in just a little over a week at Temple.  We are so proud of her!  Way to go Liv!

We hope you enjoy these last weeks of summer to their fullest!

  Committed to your success always,
The Evolution Fitness Team

The Warrior Spirit

A warrior is a human being who accepts the call and walks the long, arduous path of becoming one's full potential.

A warrior knows his mission in life is to discover and become all he was meant to be.

A warrior sees problems and obstacles as challenges and opportunities for growth. She knows that the obstacle that lies before her is not there to defeat her, but rather to bring her closer to fulfilling her potential.

A warrior takes responsibility for the quality of his life. He does not blame others or point fingers because to do so would put his power in their hands, rather than his own.

A warrior takes action.

A warrior is disciplined and committed to her path.

A warrior knows that victory and defeat are first decided within.

A warrior embraces his life, every last bit of it.

A warrior lives each moment to its fullest.

A warrior lives each day with purpose.

A warrior never lays down in defeat.

A warrior holds her head high no matter what the outcome because she can rest in the truth that she gave it her all.

A warrior lives with honor. He leads by example.

A warrior is courageous.

A warrior knows her purpose and lives it.

A warrior has compassion for his fellow comrades in arms. He fights alongside them, helping when he can, leading by example, and knowing when to let them fight their own battles.

A warrior treats her fellow sisters and brothers with great respect. She never pities them, she never judges them, and she never looks down upon them.

Olivia's Off to School!

Although we are sad that we won't see her as often, we are so excited for Olivia as she heads off to her first year at Temple in just a little over a week!  We couldn't be more proud of her!

At Temple, Olivia will be pursuing a M.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration on the Psychology of Human Movement, AKA Sports Psychology.

Olivia received her bachelors degree in Psychology at Newmann University where she played lacrosse all 4 years.  She was the team captain of her lacrosse team for three years.

An athlete all her life, it was Olivia's experience as captain of her lacrosse team that ultimately led her to choose sports psychology as her major.  She looks forward to guiding athletes through their mental blocks, injuries, and team conflicts.

Olivia's favorite quote is:

"Strength does not come from physical activity.
It comes from an indomitable will."
