You may also stop by City Hall and pick up an application. The deadline to submit an application for the June 09, 2014 appointments is 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 04, 2014. If you need assistance of have any questions, please call the City Secretary at 210-684-1391 ext. 216.

The Leon Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) will accept applications for the Façade and Signage Program from June 1 to July 15.  Sales tax generating businesses and property owners with sales tax generating tenants are eligible for the program.  The program guidelines and application may be found by clicking here.

At the May 28 meeting, the LVEDC Board passed a resolution requiring applicants to use Leon Valley businesses for bids on the services to do the façade improvements or signage; and, whenever feasible, to use the local businesses for the services.  Proof of the local business bids should be submitted with the application for funding.  The LVEDC encourages businesses and residents to "buy local".

Notice is hereby given that the City of Leon Valley City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the matter below. The hearing will be held on Monday, June 09, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the hearings is to obtain citizen input on:

• The proposed Hike and Bike Trail Improvements planned for the park known as the Huebner-Onion Natural Area Park.

This public hearing will be held at the City of Leon Valley City Hall, Council Chambers located at 6400 El Verde Road, Leon Valley, Texas  78238. City Hall is wheelchair accessible and special parking is available near the front entrance.
