WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY

***Leon Valley***

The National Weather Service has issued a:

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM THIS MORNING...

.AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL GENERATE A BAND OF SLEET AND SNOW FROM NORTHERN SAN ANTONIO ACROSS THE NEW BRAUNFELS AND SAN MARCOS AREAS...

SLEET AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS UP TO ONE HALF INCH ARE POSSIBLE. THE SLEET AND SNOW WILL END BY 11 AM.

*Some roads have sleet accumulations along the shoulders but all roads in Leon Valley are passable at this time.

*The in-bound & out-bound flyovers to Loop 410 are also open.

*Stay alert to the National Weather Service for changing weather conditions.

NISD reports schools & offices are open today.
