Learning Opportunity
 

Jenny Burgess with the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition will be hosting a 2-hour training Thursday, December 19th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Leon Valley Conference Center.  

 

Come learn about the Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) program for the humane treatment and control of our outside cat population. The TNR mission is to help curb the overpopulation of cats in the area through education and empowerment of the community.

A Public Meeting to plan for the new Leon Valley Hike & Bike Trail Alignment and Design

We are in process of designing approximately 1.6 miles of a Hike & Bike Trail that will stretch from Evers Road/Raymond Rimkus Park through the Natural Area Park, along the Huebner Creek under Bandera Road, and end at Shadow Mist Drive; connecting with San Antonio's proposed Crystal Hills Park and the Leon Creek Greenway Trail system.

 

Please join us to view the options and offer your opinion on the new trail. We want your comments and ideas on how to make this the best trail in the area!
