October 2013

The Intermountain Slurry Seal Company will be resurfacing certain streets in various areas of the City, with a process known as "slurry seal". They started the project on October 8th and hope to be completed by October 18th.

The subdivisions affected include Linkwood Addition, Seneca Estates, Castle Estates, Shadow Mist, Pavona Place, Sun Valley, and a portion of Forest Oaks.

Additionally, Poss and Alley-Kinman roads are to be coated.  This project is a part of our annual street maintenance program and is extremely cost effective. This  resurfacing method is done primarily as a preventative maintenance measure to protect the street surface from deterioration due to water, sun, and age. The slurry also adds a new wearing surface, improving skid resistance, which allows cars to stop in a shorter distance. If your street is to be slurry sealed, you will receive a door hangar informing you of the action and what steps to take to assist us in this endeavor.

We appreciate and thank you in advance for your cooperation!
