The City of Leon Valley wants to thank all of the community members who participated in this year's National Night Out this past Tuesday, October 1st. The night was a great success with over 450 residents participating in activities coordinated by various Leon Valley neighborhoods. A special thanks goes out to our Police and Fire personnel who work around the clock to keep our city safe.

Earthwise Living Committee

The next meeting of the Earthwise Living Committee will be held Tuesday, October 8th, 5:30 p.m., at the Public Works Department, located at 6427 Evers Road.

City Council meets monthly

The October City Council Meeting will be held, Monday, October 14, 2013. The agenda will be posted October 11th.

What's on the Ballot?

Besides having the Constitutional Amendments to consider, there will be two ballot measures for registered voters living in the City of Leon Valley to consider. Information on each can be found by clicking on the links below:

The Reauthorization of the Street Maintenance Sales and Use Tax, with an expiration of 10 years
The Creation of a Crime Control and Prevention District, and the adoption of a local sales and use tax at a rate of one-eighth of one percent pursuant to Chapter 363 of the Texas Local Government Code.
