The next Regular City Council Meeting is Tuesday, May 7 at 7 p.m.
Just a few updates this week:
- Leon Valley residents turned in 424.8 pounds of prescription drugs on Saturday, April 27
- The next CAG-Bandera Road Site is Thursday, May 23, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Leon Valley Conference Center
- The work on the Children's Wing at the Leon Valley Public Library continues
- The Leon Valley Historical Society is holding a Pioneer Ice Cream Social on Sunday, May 26, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., at the Historic Huebner-Onion Homestead, 6613 Bandera Road

Leon Valley City Council Meetings  Regular City Council Meetings are scheduled on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at 7 p.m.
Special City Council Meetings can be scheduled for different days and beginning times.
Official public notices and meeting agendas are posted on the City's Bulletin Boards outside the City Hall front doors at 6400 El Verde Road, at least 72 hours before the start of the meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, and are also posted on the City's website.

T'ai Chi Chih:
Saturday mornings at 8 a.m., join us at the Leon Valley Public Library for T'ai Chi Chih: Joy Through Movement.
T'ai Chi Chih is an easy to learn set of movements focused on the development of an intrinsic energy called "Chi." It does not require a particular level of physical fitness or coordination. People of all ages can learn it.
T'ai Chi Chih meets rain or shine, all year around. Come join the group! For information, call the Leon Valley Public Library at 210-684-0720.
