Save the Date: Plan Now for Spring
Clean-Up Week in the City of Leon Valley!
Important to know: The dates for setting your items to the curb are March 11-17. Please do not set out out items before March 11-17.
The actual collection will occur the weeks of March 18 - 22 and March 25 - 29.
Beginning March 18, Waste Management, Inc., will begin collecting items. Once, the collection trucks have been through your neighborhood, they will not return. Only one pass is done through each neighborhood. Please plan ahead. The list of things to consider are below.
Please remember:
- Limit piles to six (6) cubic yards
- Place brush piles withing six (6) feet of the curb
- Brush must be placed in locations free of obstructions (avoid placing brush piles near parked cars, near fences, near mailboxes, beneath overhead wires, beneath low hanging tree or bush limbs, near cable boxes or over water meters)
- All brush and items must be set out by 7 a.m. on March 18
