Regular City Council Meetings are scheduled on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at 7 p.m.   

Please note that Special City Council Meetings can be scheduled for different days and beginning times. 

Official public notices and meeting agendas are posted on the City's Bulletin Boards outside the City Hall front doors at 6400 El Verde Road, at least 72 hours before the start of the meeting in accordance with the Texas  Open Meetings Act,  and are also posted on the City's website.  Click here for more information.

 Shop first and buy fresh at the Leon Valley Farmer's Market.  The Leon Valley Farmer's  Market locates on the parking lot next to the Leon Valley Public Library on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
 
Forest Oaks Garden Club Meeting, February 13, 2013 -

The Forest Oaks Garden Club meets at the Leon Valley Public Library on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome and invited!
   
Northwest Senior Citizens Club of Leon Valley Hosting "Trash & Treasure Sale" on Saturday, March 9, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Leon Valley Community Center, 6427 Evers Road.  The Northwest Senior Citizens invite you to participate. They encourage you to start your Spring cleaning early.  Donate any still usable items which may find a new home in someone else's care as a newly acquired  'treasure'!  This is a great way to recycle and ensure that items are re-used.  Food and baked items will be available at a nominal cost.

T'ai Chi Chih:  Saturday mornings at 8 a.m., join us at the Leon Valley Public Library for T'ai Chi Chih:  Joy Through Movement.  
 
T'ai Chi Chih is an easy to learn set of movements focused on the development of an intrinsic energy called "Chi."  It does not require a particular level of physical fitness or coordination.  People of all ages can learn it. 
 
T'ai Chi Chih meets, rain or shine, all year around.  Come join the group!  For information, call the Leon Valley Public Library at 210 - 684-0720.
