Regular City Council Meetings are scheduled on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at 7 p.m.   

Please note that Special City Council Meetings can be scheduled for different days and beginning times. 

Official public notices and meeting agendas are posted on the City's Bulletin Boards outside the City Hall front Doors at 6400 El Verde Road, at least 72 hours before the start of the meeting in accordance with the Texas  Open Meetings Act,  and are also posted on the City's website.  Click here for more information.

The Forest Oaks Garden Club meets at the Leon Valley Public Library on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome and invited!

T'ai Chi Chih:  Saturday mornings at 8 a.m., join us at the Leon Valley Public Library for T'ai Chi Chih:  Joy Through Movement.  
 
T'ai Chi Chih is an easy to learn set of movements focused on the development of an intrinsic energy called "Chi."  It does not require a particular level of physical fitness or coordination.  People of all ages can learn it. 
 
T'ai Chi Chih meets, rain or shine, all year around.  Come join the group!  For information, call the Leon Valley Public Library at 210 - 684-0720.
