Leon Valley City Council Meetings Regular City Council Meetings are scheduled on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at 7 p.m.
Please note that Special City Council Meetings can be scheduled for different days and beginning times.
Official public notices and meeting agendas are posted on the City's Bulletin Boards outside the City Hall front Doors at 6400 El Verde Road, at least 72 hours before the start of the meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, and are also posted on the City's website. Out and About the Neighborhood Shop Leon Valley first-Contribute to our local economy! Shop first and buy fresh at the Leon Valley Far mer's Market. The Leon Valley Farmer's Market locates on the parking lot next to the Leon Valley Public Library on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. February 13, 2013 - "Rain Barrels - How -To" Program presented by William Aman, "The Barrel Man." The Forest Oaks Garden Club meets at the Leon Valley Public Library on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome and invited! Help us meet our goal of becoming El Verde by 2020, plant trees now! NeighborWoods Program Information. T'ai Chi Chih: Saturday mornings at 8 a.m., join us at the Leon Valley Public Library for T'ai Chi Chih: Joy Through Movement.
T'ai Chi Chih is an easy to learn set of movements focused on the development of an intrinsic energy called "Chi." It does not require a particular level of physical fitness or coordination. People of all ages can learn it.
