The Thankful Season
Greetings!

In reflecting over the events of the past few days, weeks, and months, we recognize that we have much for which to be grateful. As public servants, we are grateful for the opportunities to be service to our Mayor and City Council, to our citizens and residents, our businesses, and community stakeholders.

We are especially grateful for the confidence expressed by the City's voters in authorizing a $7 million bond for a new municipal facility for public safety and administration services. The new facility will provide

services now and for future generations of Leon Valley citizens and residents.

In our service to one another as public servants, we are inspired by the esprit de corps demonstrated on a day-in and day-out basis with one another that

demonstrates our common bond and commitment of purpose.

In witnessing the untold damage wrecked by super storm Sandy, we recognize the need to be prepared, and experience renewed gratitude for our families, homes, and personal safety.

Sunday, November 11, is Veterans Day.  Veterans Day Poster 2012

We invite you to reflect on the sacrifices made by countless veterans.  The Holiday offers an opportunity to reflect on their service and brings to mind their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve.

As always, we invite you to Connect with Us... to obtain the most current City of Leon Vallety news and information from the City's website.
