Avincis selects Q-Pulse mission critical operations and safety across over 400 aircraft and more than 300 bases.

Greetings!

Avincis Mission Critical Services (Avincis) has joined forces with Gael to help improve aerial services for mission critical operations such as medical emergency, search and rescue, fire fighting, coast and city surveillance and the transport of people to remote locations such as oil and gas rigs and wind turbines.

The Group has agreed an initial deal which will see them use Q-Pulse technology to manage safety across their fleet of over 400 fixed wing and rotor aircraft. The deal spans more than 300 Avincis' operating bases across nine countries, including the UK, Norway, Spain, Australia, Chile, France and Italy.

The Q-Pulse technology will be introduced across the Group's fleet to provide a common platform for the sharing of safety management system (SMS) information and practice. It will help Avincis deliver operational excellence and achieve its corporate goal of zero accidents.

Avincis Group Safety Director, Simon Stewart said: "Avincis Mission Critical Services Group operates to the highest of standards and is committed to ensuring that safety is inherent in everything that we do. We see the implementation of Q-Pulse across the group as a key element of our integrated SMS capability. Our focus is on safety - zero accidents - operational excellence and cost effectiveness for customers."

Gael's Global Aviation Business Manager, Craig Baker, said: "We had worked closely with both Bond and INAER, two companies which make up a high percentage of the Avincis Group, for a number of years and the new deal was a huge endorsement in terms of the success of our relationship.

The deal is all about bringing an SMS standard across the entire Group. The attraction of having a common platform is the ability to instantly access the information needed to analyse SMS performance and introduce areas for improvement where necessary. We have worked with the organization over the years and welcome the Group decision to extend their relationship with us as their business grows across Europe, South America and Australia."
