ICYMI: Titan Development Ltd. Claimed 1st Place at 2016 Chamber Golf Classic
The Chamber Golf Classic took place at North Sound Golf Club on Friday November 4, with Titan Development Ltd. storming the round to take 1st place.
The overcast morning left doubt as to whether the tournament would go ahead, with the appearance of heavy rain a very likely event at the time. However, by midday, the sun appeared for a truly glorious afternoon of golfing.
25 teams battled it out in a 4 Man Scramble round over the course of the next 5 hours, with law firms Walkers Global and Broadhurst LLC securing 2nd and 3rd place respectively. But it was Titan Development Ltd. who would go on to win the event, with an incredible score of 50.

Chamber Confirms Dates for Two 2017 Events The Chamber of Commerce has confirmed the dates for two of its major events in 2017; the Careers, Education & Training Expo, and the Earth Day Clean-up.
The Careers Expo will be taking place on March 24, 2017 at the Sir John Vassel Johnson Hall, UCCI; whilst the Earth Day Clean-up will be held during the morning of April 22, 2017.
Over the years these two events have been tremendous for generating positivity within the Cayman Islands community, and we expect that 2017 shall be no different.
The success of these events cannot be achieved without help from the business community, however, and we are urging any businesses who may be interested in taking part in any of these events to contact us.

Training Spotlight: Landlord & Tenant Relationship Tyrannical tenant? Loathsome landlord? Most of us, at some point, have been in that position. But whilst the relationship between landlords and tenants can often be at fever pitch, there are ways to learn how to manage the relationship better.
The Chamber of Commerce is again hosting a Landlord & Tenant Relationship masterclass, with the session running on Thursday, November 17.
This two hour course covers the obligations of a landlord and tenant in both residential and commercial leases. The course will provide a greater understanding of the landlord and tenant relationship, the salient provisions of the Registered Land Law (2004 Revision) and the remedies available to landlords such as forfeiture, possession and distraint.
