CHAMBER VOICE
Cayman Islands Residents to be affected by National Pensions (Amendment) Law 2016

Last week the Cayman Gazette published the National Pensions (Amendment) Law 2016.

This amendment establishes many goals, including an increase in the requirements for member education, so it is of the utmost importance for many of the Islands' residents.

We would strongly encourage you to access the amendment here.

The Chamber of Commerce acknowledges that pension laws and information can be difficult to understand, so we also strongly recommend that HR Managers and Human Resources Professionals attend our Pensions Legal Masterclass on June 16th.

Cayman Chamber - Marine Surveyors
Meet our Member: Dock at Morgan's Harbour

Dock at Morgan's Harbour Ltd. (or DOCK as the owners call it) are a very recent addition to the Chamber Membership, having only joined a little over 2 months ago.

Situated in West Bay, the marina, which caters to watersports operators and recreational boaters, has undergone a transforming renovation.

Despite the short time, however, they have dived head first into all the membership has to offer, joining our committees, discussing how they can get involved with our projects and events, and showing a keen interest in being an active member of the business community.

DOCK are also excited to announce that they have become the first marina in Cayman to establish a partnership with the brand Rubis.

Whilst you refuel your boat at the marina, you can also refuel too at their on-site restaurant, Catch.

We spoke to the owner, Sebastien Guilbard, and asked him a couple of questions about his business and this massive announcement.

Department of Tourism prepares for Only In Cayman 2016

The following is a message from the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.

As we gear up what for what we hope to be a busy summer travel season, we begin to shift focus to the planning and execution of our annual autumn promotion, Fall Only in Cayman.

The programme is designed to stimulate travel to the Cayman Islands from September to December.

As we will be promoting this through an integrated advertising campaign, CIDOT encourages you to submit compelling offerings that will stimulate additional business during our traditionally slower shoulder season.
