CHAMBER VOICE
BE INFORMED. Proposed amendments to the National Pensions Law

You're invited to attend a special BE INFORMED session on Thursday, 20 August from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at the Chamber conference room in Governors Square.

A special presentation will be delivered by Caymanian attorneys Nick Joseph and Venesha McLean from HSM Chambers. They will review the proposed amendments and will respond to questions from members.

Amendments proposed to the National Pensions Law include increasing the maximum pensionable annual earnings from $60,000 to $87,000 per year. The Bill also eliminates pension payment requirements for employees who work less than 15 hours per week.

The Chamber Council plans to review the Bill and will be seeking the views of the membership in upcoming weeks on the proposed changes.
