Join the Challenge!

We're off to a good start with our 100 Days of VNA Love Challenge (#100DaysofVNALove), but we have a long way to go and need your help! Each day for 100 days this summer, we're highlighting a staff member on Facebook with a photo and something they like about working at the VNA.

All we need is a photo - send one or we can take a photo - and a sentence or two about why you like working at the VNA or what you find most rewarding.

Be a part of #100DaysofVNALove and be entered into a drawing for

a 3-day pass to the Champlain Valley Fair!

Good Bye from Claire McCabe
It's just a few hours to go before I leave. Today is my last working day. It's hard to imagine that I won't be coming here tomorrow. Before I go, I want to say thank you and good bye. I am grateful for the opportunities provided to me here for the last 10 years. I have felt thrilled to be a part of the professional health care teams and the management and leadership teams and especially the Intake and Referral Team and very proud to say I worked for the VNA. Thank you for your support and for the care that you all provide on a daily basis. We are truly privileged to serve our clients and their families and you all do it so well!

Personally, many of you opened up your hearts and homes to me and as a "Flatlander" in the area and I remember those kindnesses very well. Many of you have become my friends and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So, cheers to the time we spent together. I wish you all good things in life. I am on Facebook if you want to connect!

Fondly, Claire McCabe

Legislative Update:  Higher Fees for Licenses Not Renewed on Time

On July 1, 2015 a revision to 3 V.S.A. 127 increases fees for reinstating a license not renewed on time. This applies to all professions regulated by the Office of Professional Regulation.   The goal of the new law is to ensure that people renew on time and do not practice in Vermont without an active license.  A license which is not renewed will expire.
