Spring Blooms at VNA Fashion Show!
|
On April 11, 300 people gathered at the Sheraton for the Spring Blooms! Fashion Show and Luncheon. Thanks to the generosity of event sponsors, raffle prize donors and our guests, who bought tickets to the luncheon and lots of raffle tickets as well, this year's benefit raised over $30,000 for the Janet S. Munt Family Room, VNA's Parent-Child Center. For 25 years, the VNA's Family Room has provided essential services and programs that support our community's most vulnerable families. Our lovely models bravely walked the runway to model fashions from SportStyle, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Liebling, Jess Boutique and Stella Mae. Many thanks to Theresa Alberghini DiPalma, Kara Alnasrawi, Brian Boardman, Kyle Bostwick, Laura Bowe, Amy Deavitt, Bob DiPalma, T.J. Donovan, Peggy Eastman, Sheryl Glubok, Frank Harris, Lauren Maloney, Judy Peterson, Martha Maksym, Susie Posner-Jones and Stacy Weinberger. During the event, St. Michael's College Fix it With Five student organization presented the Family Room's Preschool program with a $10,000 check to promote school readiness. The 2013 VNA Cares for Children award was presented in honor of Virginia and Arnold Golodetz for their dedicated commitment to and passion for the Family Room and the families we serve. A special thank you to our sponsors who helped make this event a success:
