Last week, over 350 community members gathered to hear Jane Brody, best-selling author and health columnist for the NY Times, share her insights on living well to the end.
VNA's Madison Deane Initiative held the event as part of their
Knowledge is Power series aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of palliative and hospice care. Jane shared her personal experiences with death and recommendations for how we can achieve a quality end-of-life experience for ourselves and loved ones.
In her talk, Jane encouraged everyone to talk about their end-of-life wishes and pointed to VNA's
Start the Conversation resources as a way to get started.
