Greetings!
Just a little more than 2 months left to the school year...
This is a good time to start thinking about what, if any, learning you hope to include in your child's summer plans.  For many children, summer can be an opportunity to pick up a few skills or strategies without the pressure of heavy curriculum, grades, time pressure.  Caution here - finding the balance between supporting your child's academic performance and confidence and giving them a much needed break is not easy.  I would recommend that any summer work be clearly defined, full of tremendous praise for their added effort, and perhaps a bonus as well.
Calm your home, calm your life...
The spring session of Calm and Connected: Parenting Children with ADHD© is starting April 15th. These seven weekly sessions can help truly improve the whole feeling in your home.
Parent Training is recognized as a crucial part of treatment for children with ADHD. Using a combination of education and coaching, this workshop will help you develop specific tools, techniques and strategies to bring positive energy and enjoyment back to your home.
Struggling to Manage your Child's Homework?
The final session this school year of Managing Homework: Tips, Tools, Strategies... and Your Role© is being offered April 13th and 20th
