Molly Wingate and Marti Woodward's presentation on 3/12, Slow Parenting, sponsored by Eldorado K-8 PEN was a well-attended, lively event. The authors of Slow Parenting Teens engaged the audience in a workshop to help identify the traits needed to be the most influential person in your child's life and what hinders that relationship. Molly and Marti's approach is to slow down your interactions with your children in order to build your relationship with them. "The worst habit that parents and professionals have that discourages good relationships is that we look at what is wrong!"
