Spring Break is fast upon us and we hope that you will have the opportunity to spend some time together as a family. Check out some of the easy tips that Dawn And Marty shared at "Is Your Family Thriving or Just Surviving?" below. Finding new ways to stay connected and in relationship with one another is invaluable and that's what we are all about at PEN. In light of the tragedies that have affected so many communities, including our own, it makes me proud to be a part of an organization whose core values focus on relationships and providing you with the resources to build solid foundations that foster thriving families and youth.
We need your help to sustain our efforts. Consider making a donation or volunteering with PEN TODAY and invest in building the kind of world we all want for our kids-one that is CARING, CONNECTED, SAFE, and as our Nederland PEN team has reminded us - INCLUSIVE.
Happy Spring!

Dawn and Marty present to group at Southern Hills Middle School
"I loved the practical ideas and strategies shared by the presenters and the audience which I could easily implement with my family."

"Diane was truly inspiring. She gave me a new perspective and opened my eyes to focus on my strengths and not dwell on my weaknesses. I hope one day I can inspire young women as much as she did."
We are in the process of planning next year's calendar - one of the most exciting opportunities for involvement with PEN. We gather input from evaluations,
school teams, collaborators, professionals, youth, and parents
to design the most connective calendar possible.
